Barn Restoration in Wiltshire
We are delighted to have secured detailed planning approvals to enable our clients at Blaxwell Farmyard, Whiteparish, Wiltshire, to continue restoring a series of barns, each into a barn conversion, considered a heritage asset.
The planning history dates back over 20 years and was fraught with complexities.
Twenty years of lying vacant and weather-beaten meant the original planning permission meant the farm buildings could not be restored as approved. The initial planning permission was based on hand-drawn broad architectural plans.
Based on laser-based topographic surveys and detailed professional expert input from Asset Heritage and Barclay Philips Architects, we had to negotiate a significant update to all the information. The dream home should be ready by Autumn 2023.
